President of the Anaheim Public Library Foundation Board 

Linda Newby has been a travel agent for 39 years and is owner of Gallery Travel of Anaheim. She is a founding member of Anaheim Public Library Board.

She was awarded the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, “Woman of the Year” and has served on their board for 22 years. She is a graduate of the Anaheim Police Citizen Awareness and Education course (P.A.C.E.) and also a graduate of the Anaheim C.E.R.T.  (Citizens Emergency Response Team), she is a Commissioner for the City of Anaheim Sister City Association, and a Board Member for the Orange County Family Justice Center, the Anaheim Family YMCA, the National Work Investment Board and the Assistance League of Anaheim.
