Gloria Ma’ae

Gloria Ma’ae is a 45-year resident of West Anaheim where she resides with her husband. She is currently a Director of the Anaheim Police Department Foundation. Mrs. Ma’ae is a former Anaheim City Councilmember, representing District 2 in west Anaheim. During her time on council, she served as the Anaheim representative for the League of California Cities as well as a Director of the Orange County Water District.
Mrs. Ma’ae has a long history of community involvement. She was a member of the Anaheim Community Services Board and Chair of the North Anaheim Neighborhood Council. She has also served on the Anaheim Charter Review Commission, which considers updates to Anaheim’s guiding charter for voters to consider, as well as on the Anaheim Citizens Advisory Committee on Elections. Ma’ae has participated in the Anaheim Police Department’s PACE program, which promoted engagement between
residents and their police. She chaired and organized an annual neighborhood tree lighting at her local park attended by hundreds of residents.
Mrs. Ma’ae retired after serving for 34 years through 2012 at United Parcel Service in the International Business Development arena. She is married and has two adult children.
